8th February 1997: Flew to to Half Moon Bay via Invercargill, then by sea (52' launch the "Southern Isle") to the "beach" off Christmas Village Hut. Luckily the sea was calm as we had to land by dinghy! Trampers were Ian Bardsley (lab manager), Alan Rogers (lab technitian), John Barrell (gas engineer), Cathy Thompson (vet), Ross Dunlop (Gentleman Farmer) and moi, Keith Blayney (GP).
