November 1994: Trampers were: Alan Rogers, Ian Bardsley, Ross Dunlop and me (Keith Blayney). We started at the south from the "Gentle Annie" (Napier Taihape Rd, just west of Kuripapango) and headed up the Ngaruroro River to Cameron Hut. We followed the river to Kiwi Mouth, cut out a loop over Mt Manson, recrossed the river at Ngaawapurua Hut, headed up the Harkness Valley to eventually drop back down and recross the Ngaruroro before Boyd.
