Day 4: (Tuesday 22/03/05) We needed to be away early in order to meet the Jet boat at 2pm. That was easy as the English party was up and parking before dawn! As it was fine I also wanted to get some photos missed on the way up when it was raining.

The river was down enough for us to by-pass the "Hump" and the rough track west of the Airstrip flat.

We overtook the English who did make it in time for lunch at Kerin Forks although they had an injured member who had her pack carried by the guide. The jetboat ride was excellent, with lots of 360° turns to impress the tourists. We caught the bus to Hawea and on to Wanaka for our flights the next day.
