Sunday 6th March 2011: When morning came I discovered my pants missing (more correctly, I could not discover my pants), a somewhat worrying situation given I had reduced spare clothing to a minimum. Eventually I found them on the rocks above where I washed them and left them to dry but their stone colour had escaped my attention when I collected my washing. After doning wet pants, it was time to photograph the bridge over the Roebuck Stream, just above it's confluence with the Pelorus opposite the hut. |

The track after Roebuck Hut now runs above the true left bank of the Pelorus and is even narrower, wetter and more covered with slippery leaves than the previous day, resulting in a number of slips and falls by me, producing some serious bruising and abraisions, but no fractures or dislocations this time. Not my favourite section of the tramp! |

Dinner was soup, Carbonara (with Bacon TVP, Biltong and Indian mushrooms) over Fetticcine, followed by...mmmm, dried fruit. | |
