Day 2 (Wednesday 3rd March 2010): We were all much refreshed after a good sleep (well I was). Some had even helped the (?volunteer) maintenance workers at the hut. We also took time to get a "team photo".

Our track generally followed ridges (up and down, in and out of bush), but we (well some of us) went at a more steady pace so it wasn't excessively difficult (comparatively).

A view? I had my head down! JS0763
The afternoon (after lunch) section had more contours to cross but this was made up for by some great views and other than a few spits, good weather.

Dinner was soup followed by Kaweka (of course) Moroccan Lamb. It was to have been traditional with CousCous but the consensus was that this could be relegated to the "spare" collection and the spare rice (wild blend) used instead. Dried fruit with Hansells Crème Caramel followed.
