Burke's General Armory gives the original description of the arms (shield) as:
SA. A TREFOIL OR BETW. THREE HORSES'S HEADS ERASED AR."

When translated the Blazon also describes the original colours of the Blayney Arms as:
"Black: A gold trefoil, between three gold jagged horses' heads."

and the CREST (above the shield & helmet):
"A silver horses's head severed, in complete naturally coloured armour, bridle blue." [1]
