Friday 21st February 2014: Another "boutique" tramp, which I had done the hard way in 1990 (carrying a full pack, tent, food etc) from south to north then back along Evans Ridge (Awapoto & Moa park Huts back to Tinline). This time it was guided and well provisioned by Wilsons leaving from Nelson and collecting a launch at Kaiteriteri.

The Wilsons launch Vista took us on a scenic cruise along many of the beaches we would be returning on, dropping off or collecting people at various destinations, including Dianne Bardsley who had broken a leg just before the trip and was confident (and/or stubborn) that she could cope by being delivered to each accommodation venue, despite having a non-weight bearing caste on. Our "team" also consisted of Ian bardsley, Graham & Cathy Thompson, Pauline Huston, Ian Bardsley, John Sutton, Alan Rogers and Keith Blayney.
