Day 1: (Sat 06/03/04) Flew from various points around the country to Invercargill where all (except John Barrell) stayed overnight.

Day 2: (Sun 07/03/04) Bus from Invercargill to Te Anau, where we were to fly by amphibious craft to Supper Cove but the weather was unacceptable, so we hired two helicopters for a fantasic trip over Lake Manapouri, up the West Arm, up the Spay Valley, over a barely visible Pillians Pass (didn't look like Centre Pass) and down the Seaforth Valley to Supper Cover on Dusky Sound where we landed on the beach near Supper Cove Hut (12 bunks and some local fishermen).
